When you join the waitlist: name and email address.

When you submit a full membership application, we additionally collect: mobile number, nationality, date of birth, city and country of residence, profession, LinkedIn or Instagram profile link, your answers to the application questions (what you're curious about, what conversations you're looking for, what you could bring to the circle, how you heard about us), and optionally, the name and email of someone you'd like to refer.

We process this data to review and evaluate your application for membership, verify your identity and eligibility, contact you about the outcome of your application, invite you to events and experiences if you become a member, and maintain the security and integrity of the circle.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making. Every application is reviewed individually, by a person.

Consent — you actively choose to submit your data by completing the waitlist or application form.

Legitimate interest — reviewing applications to maintain the quality and safety of the membership circle.

You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).

Your information is reviewed only by the 2Thrive team responsible for membership decisions. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share limited data with service providers who support our operations (e.g. email delivery, application form hosting, secure storage), under data processing agreements that require them to protect your data to the same standard.

We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area unless the recipient offers an adequate level of protection (e.g. via Standard Contractual Clauses).

Waitlist entries: kept until you ask to be removed, or for 12 months of inactivity, whichever comes first.

Applications not accepted: kept for 6 months, in case a future review round is a better fit, then deleted.

Member data: kept for the duration of membership, plus 2 years afterward for record-keeping, unless you request earlier deletion.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict or object to certain processing, receive your data in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time without affecting past processing, and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD — www.cnpd.pt).

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No online system is entirely risk-free, but we treat your information with the same discretion we promise the circle itself.

We use essential cookies to operate the site and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new last updated date.
